Readers of the Daily Telegraph have voted Monarch as the ‘Best Charter Airline’ for the second successive year in the prestigious Telegraph Reader awards which were announced on Tuesday 25 November.
Over 25,000 readers were recently polled in Britain’s biggest travel survey, which once again saw Monarch beat off stiff competition to pick up the top award.
Monarch scooped was voted ‘Best Leisure Airline’ in the prestigious British Travel Awards. The airline was also runner up in the ‘Best Low Cost/No Frills airline’ and ‘Best Scheduled Airline’ categories.

Monarch triumphed at the Hollis Sponsorship Awards 2008, topping the ‘First Time Sponsor’ category for its flyKandi with Monarch campaign.

Monarch.co.uk's high achieving SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) campaign has once again been recognised by the marketing community with a commendation at the esteemed Marketing Society Awards for Excellence 2008. The commendation came in the 'Digital Channels/Media' category for Monarch being 'The most visible airline in natural search engine results'.
At the 2007 Travel Trade Gazette awards held in Old Billingsgate, Monarch retained the prestigious 'Airline of the Year - Leisure' award after being crowned with the title last year.
The panel of 37 judges made up of travel industry experts judged that Monarch was worthy of retaining the award, triumphing over a number of other nominated airlines including Thomas Cook Airlines and Virgin Atlantic.
